Safe in Salford - Domestic Abuse Service
Safe in Salford is your one front door domestic abuse support in Salford.
There are five elements to the partnership:
- Crisis Service (Independent Domestic Violence Advocates, or IDVAs) for
Victims - Advice and Support Service for Victims
- Specialist Support for GPs (known as IRIS)
- Children and Young People’s Support – Harbour
- Behaviour Change Programmes for Perpetrators

If you need help urgently or are in any danger, please call Greater Manchester Police on 999.
Safe in Salford staff are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays to provide information, advice and support on domestic abuse. Sorry, we are not open during the weekends.
To speak to a member of our dedicated Domestic Abuse Team you can call us on our helpline 0161 793 3232. If we are busy, please leave a message on the answer machine with your name and contact details including your phone number and we will call you back. We aim to respond within 48 hours or sooner.
