Skills Builder- NCS

Our Life Ready team has an exciting opportunity to support young people aged 16-17 to feel prepared for employability and feel confident in enhancing their own skills.

The Skills Builder initiative offers young people workshops to become world ready and work ready. Skills builder does this through developing their confidence, resilience and well-being; connecting them with people from all walks of life; and empowering them to make a difference in their communities and wider society.

The project will implement fun and engaging sessions following the skills builder framework. Focusing on the 8 essential skills which underpin individual success at each stage in life and support all young people in developing their independence.
